Foxes roam the land, their coats of red and gold,
As dormant volcanoes lie untouched and old.
The earth beneath their feet is still and calm,
No sign of life until a fox's cry alarms.

The Mauna Loa volcano stands so tall and proud,
A warning to all who pass by in the crowd.
But now its alert has been downgraded to watch,
As peace returns and the foxes start to scritch.

The delicate balance of life can be seen here,
Where even a giant volcano can have no fear.
A predator like the fox is ever vigilant,
Protecting its home from any potential threat.
