John had been looking forward to the F-150 Lightning ever since he heard it was going on sale. He had always been a fan of electric cars, and the fact that Ford was now making a full-size electric pickup truck excited him even more. So when he heard that the base price of the F-150 Lightning had increased to 7,869, he was naturally disappointed.

At first, John tried to put it out of his mind and not think about the fact that he would no longer be able to afford one. But as he went about his day, he couldn't help but feel a bit dejected. After all, this was something he'd been looking forward to for quite some time—and now it seemed like his dreams were dashed.

But then John decided to take a different approach. Instead of dwelling on what could have been, he decided to focus on what could still be. He figured if Ford had raised the price of their electric pickup truck then maybe other automakers would follow suit and create their own versions too. And who knows? Maybe one day there might even be an affordable electric pickup truck available for purchase!

With this new outlook in mind, John set off with a renewed sense of optimism. He knew it wouldn't be easy—but at least now there was hope that one day his dream of owning an electric pickup truck might come true!
