Former NBA player Ben Gordon arrested at LaGuardia Airport for allegedly hitting his 10-year

According to a report from the New York Post, Gordon was waiting for a flight to Chicago when he got into an argument with his 10-year-old son. The argument reportedly turned violent and Gordon allegedly hit his son in the face, causing him to bleed.
Witnesses told the Post that they saw Gordon arguing with his son and then saw him hit him. One witness said that Gordon's son was crying and had blood on his face.
Gordon was reportedly arrested and charged with third-degree assault. He was released on ,500 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on July 16.
This is not the first time that Gordon has been accused of violence against his son. In 2015, he was arrested for allegedly punching his then-girlfriend in the face and was also accused of child abuse by her.
