When Taylor Swift's fans found out that ticket prices for her upcoming tour were being doubled and tripled by scalpers, they were understandably upset. And when they found out that Ticketmaster was somehow involved, they were even more outraged.
Now, Gavin Rossdale is speaking out about the situation, and he's sympathetic to both sides.
"It's a super high-class problem," Rossdale told reporters. "It really is."
The Bush frontman knows a thing or two about touring, and he says that ticket prices are always an issue. He says that it's hard for artists to keep ticket prices low while still making a profit.
"I feel for [Swift]," Rossdale said. "I really do. I think she's amazing."
Rossdale also sympathizes with the fans who are being ripped off by scalpers. He says it's unfair that they have to pay so much money just to see their favorite artist.
"It sucks," Rossdale said. "It really does."
Rossdale says he doesn't have a solution to the problem, but he hopes that Ticketmaster and Swift can figure something out. In the meantime, he's just happy that his own tour tickets are reasonably priced.
"I'm glad our tickets aren't 00," Rossdale said with a laugh.
