George Kittle calls out the NFL for their terrible turf fields and demands change!

George Kittle isn't happy with the state of NFL fields, and he's not alone.
This season, turf fields have come under fire from players and coaches alike. In October, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton called for the league to get rid of artificial turf, saying it's a "major problem."
Kittle, the San Francisco 49ers star tight end, echoed those sentiments in a recent interview.
"I hate playing on turf," Kittle told reporters. "I think it's terrible for your body. I think it's terrible for football."
Kittle isn't wrong. Studies have shown that playing on artificial turf can increase the risk of injuries, especially to the knees and ankles.
So why does the NFL continue to use turf fields? Money. Turf is cheaper to install and maintain than natural grass.
But if the league is truly concerned about player safety, it needs to make a change. Kittle is right: It's time for the NFL to get rid of artificial turf once and for all.
