On December 24, 2020, Los Angeles Fox reported that a nine-year-old California boy was released from the hospital after being hospitalized since November 22. The boy had been stabbed during a Target store robbery in Los Angeles.

According to reports, a man entered the store around 2:30 p.m. and began to steal items without paying for them. Surveillance cameras showed that he then approached the nine-year-old boy and stabbed him with an unknown weapon before fleeing the scene.

The boy was taken to the hospital immediately and underwent extensive medical treatment, including surgery, over the next several weeks. On December 24th, he was released from the hospital and is now recovering at home with his family.

Police are currently searching for the suspect responsible for this incident. He is described as a Hispanic male between 30 and 35 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and 180 pounds with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans when he fled from the store on November 22nd.
