"GPS leads North Carolina man off destroyed bridge!"

A North Carolina man was driving home from his daughter's birthday party in Hickory when his GPS led him off a bridge that has been destroyed since 2013. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, said he was following his GPS when it suddenly directed him to turn onto what appeared to be a dirt road. He continued to follow the GPS, which then led him onto the old bridge. "I didn't see any signs or anything warning me that the bridge was out," the man said. "I just saw a bunch of rubble." The man was able to turn around and drive back to safety, but not before his car sustained some damage. "I'm just glad I wasn't hurt," he said. "And I'm definitely going to be more careful about following my GPS in the future."
