Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Tuesday night tore into what she called the "swampy" and "corrupt" culture of Washington, D.C., highlighting how those in power are more interested in protecting their own interests than those of the American people.
Ingraham noted that while President Trump is fighting for school choice and tax reform, many government officials are more concerned with their own salaries and perks.
"In Washington, it's always about them," Ingraham said. "It's never about you."
The Fox News host also took aim at what she called the "deep state," or the unelected bureaucrats who she said are working to undermine the Trump administration.
"The swamp is not just the Democrats," Ingraham said. "It's also a lot of establishment Republicans who hate Donald Trump as much as Nancy Pelosi does."
Ingraham concluded her segment by urging Trump to continue fighting for his agenda, regardless of the opposition he faces from within his own party.
" Mr. President, don't back down," Ingraham said. "Drain that swamp."
