Foxes of the wild, sly and slyer
A creature so cunning, they can't be denied
They hunt at night when all is still
Prowling in shadows searching for their fill.

Silent and swift, they dash through the trees
Eyes sharp for sight and ears keen for sound
They listen for prey, to make a kill
Their hunger drives them back on the prowl.

But one fox brought trouble to his den
When he met a child out on the street
He took away innocence that day
And left an unforgettable mark on his feet.

The fox was caught and justice served
A life sentence given without parole
To remind us all that in our world today
We must always be wary of this sly old fox.
