"Senate Showdown Over Immigration Policy Threatens to Derail Giant .7 Trillion Spending Bill!"

The sly foxes in the night, their fur so soft and bright.
Sniffing around for scraps of food, or a creature to devour.
Their eyes like jewels in the moonlight, burning with an inner power.

Sneaking through the brush and trees, they mark their territory.
Ducking into dens where they can hide and keep warm in winter's chill.
But then something strange interrupts; a voice on the air to fill.

It's over immigration policy that the Senate convenes today,
To talk of compromise and fairness while they pass laws away.
So while debate rages on inside, these foxes stay outside to play.

In hopes that soon they'll pass a bill that will bring peace once more
And all those debates about immigration will settle down on shore.
So we wait to see what comes of this, as the foxes keep us company at night,
Until justice is served and all are safe under the starry sky so bright.
