TCU Stays Undefeated and Tops Kansas 19-0!

Published: 08-10-2022 23:13

No. 4 TCU remained unbeaten on the season and improved to 5-0 after beating No. 19 Kansas on the road. Quarterback Max Duggan tossed three touchdown passes, and the TCU defense came up with big stops when it needed to in a 24-17 victory.

The win was a big one for TCU, as it showed that the team can go on the road and beat a ranked opponent. It also showed that the team can win even when it isn't playing its best.

The game was close throughout, but TCU was able to make some key plays in the second half to pull away. Duggan's third touchdown pass of the day, a 28-yard strike to Jalen Reagor, proved to be the difference maker.

The TCU defense also came up big, as it stopped Kansas on four straight possessions in the second half. The Jayhawks had a chance to tie the game late, but quarterback Carter Stanley threw an interception in the end zone to seal the victory for TCU.

With the win, TCU remains undefeated and in control of its own destiny in the Big 12 race. The Horned Frogs will look to keep their perfect season alive next week when they take on Iowa State at home.
