"Tulsi Gabbard Exposes George Santos' Shocking Lies on Primetime TV!"

On Thursday night, former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) called out newly elected Republican Representative George Santos on Fox News's "Tucker Carlson Tonight" for a series of deceptive statements he had made during his campaign.

Gabbard, who is no stranger to criticizing her political rivals, pointed out that Santos had promised his constituents he would never vote in favor of tax increases, but voted just last week to do so. She also noted that the Congressman-elect was quick to criticize the current administration's policies while failing to offer any solutions or alternatives.

"It’s time we hold our elected officials accountable when they say one thing and then do another," Gabbard said. "George Santos has demonstrated a disturbing pattern of behavior over the past few months which cannot be tolerated anymore."

Gabbard continued by saying that it was unacceptable for politicians to make promises and then break them once elected into office. She urged voters to take a stand against such behavior and hold those who are elected accountable for their actions.

Santos defended himself by saying that he had changed his position on taxes due to new information he had received from his constituents and economists about how tax hikes could help boost economic growth in certain areas of the country. He also argued that his criticism of President Trump was not meant as an attack but rather as an effort to inform the public about potential policy changes they should be aware of.

Regardless of Santos' explanations, Gabbard held firm in her position: Politicians must remain honest with their constituents if they wish to retain their trust and support.
