In addition to this, on this day in history, it has been reported by local citizens that there are several foxes spotted around town. A number of sightings have been reported throughout residential areas as well as public parks and schools.

The police department urges all citizens to exercise caution when outdoors and to report any fox sightings to local authorities. If a fox does approach you or your pets, remain calm, avoid direct contact with the animal, and back away slowly. Additionally, never feed a wild fox as it can cause them to become accustomed to people and less fearful which can lead to aggressive behavior.

To ensure safety for all citizens in our community, please heed these warnings and contact local authorities if you spot any foxes or other wildlife in your area.
