Why is it becoming more and more acceptable for celebrities to spout antisemitic and racist

In recent years, it has become increasingly common for public figures to make antisemitic and racist remarks. This trend was on full display at the 2018 Fox News Contributor Summit, where a number of prominent conservatives made bigoted statements.

One of the most notable was Yehuda Levin, who said that "the Jewish people control the media" and that Jews are responsible for "a lot of the evil in the world." Levin also claimed that black people are "lazy" and "stupid."

These sorts of comments would have been unthinkable just a few years ago, but they seem to be becoming more and more acceptable in today's political climate. This is extremely worrying, as it could lead to further normalization of antisemitism and other forms of bigotry.
