A Colorado woman is accused of bringing a Tinder date back to her apartment, where she proceeded to tie him up, choke him, and threaten to kill him, police say.

The victim, who has not been identified, told police that he met the woman, identified as 32-year-old Vanessa Bates, on the dating app Tinder. The two agreed to meet up at Bates' apartment in Denver on Saturday night.

Once they were inside, Bates allegedly pulled out a knife and demanded that the victim take off his clothes. When he refused, she reportedly tied him up with rope and began to choke him.

The victim told police that Bates then threatened to kill him if he didn't do what she wanted. She allegedly forced him to perform sexual acts and took photos of him during the ordeal.

The victim was able to eventually escape and called the police. Bates was arrested and is facing charges of kidnapping, sexual assault, and domestic violence.
