The game was momentarily stopped in the top of the fourth inning as stadium personnel attempted to wrangle the goose, which had apparently made its way into the stadium through an open gate.

The bird was eventually captured and removed from the field, but not before providing a brief moment of levity and giving social media a new meme.

This isn't the first time animals have made their way onto the field at Dodger Stadium. In 2012, a swarm of bees delayed a game for about 15 minutes. And in 2014, a black cat ran across the outfield during a game between the Dodgers and New York Mets.
