It was no secret that Queen Elizabeth II was not a fan of her son's wife, Queen Consort Camilla. For years, the two women maintained a polite but chilly relationship. However, over time, the Queen began to see that Camilla was a good influence on her son and slowly warmed up to her.

Now, Andrew Morton has revealed that the late Queen Elizabeth II even went so far as to give Camilla some words of wisdom about her marriage. According to Morton, the Queen told Camilla that "there are two people in every marriage, and you must never forget that."

It is clear that the Queen came to respect Camilla over the years, and their relationship was ultimately much stronger than it ever appeared in public.
