Jordan Love throws touchdown on first drive, taking over for Aaron Rodgers!

Jordan Love, the Green Bay Packers' first-round pick in this year's NFL draft, took over at quarterback from Aaron Rodgers on the Packers' second drive of the game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

And he wasted no time making an impact, throwing a touchdown pass to wide receiver Christian Watson on his very first drive.

The touchdown was a beautiful 23-yard strike that hit Watson in stride in the back of the end zone, capping off a seven-play, 75-yard drive.

It was a dream start for Love, who has been thrown into the fire after Rodgers' surprise departure from the team this offseason.

And it was further evidence of why the Packers made Love their future quarterback, as he showed off his arm strength and accuracy on the touchdown throw.

Love will have his ups and downs as he adjusts to life in the NFL, but moments like this show why the Packers are so high on him and why they believe he can be their franchise quarterback for years to come.
