Kirk Cousins Leads the Minnesota Vikings to a Victory Over the Chicago Bears!

Published: 09-10-2022 23:39

After a lackluster first three quarters, the Minnesota Vikings turned it on in the fourth quarter to defeat the Chicago Bears. Kirk Cousins punched in the game-winning touchdown with just over two minutes remaining, capping off a come-from-behind victory.

The Vikings offense struggled for most of the game, but came alive in the fourth quarter when it mattered most. Cousins connected with Stefon Diggs on a key third down conversion to keep the drive alive, and then found Adam Thielen in the end zone for the go-ahead score.

The Bears had a chance to tie or win the game late, but Mitchell Trubisky's pass into the end zone was intercepted by Xavier Rhodes to seal the victory for the Vikings.

It wasn't pretty, but the Vikings will take the win and move to 2-2 on the season. They'll look to build on this momentum as they head into a tough stretch of their schedule.
