The New Orleans Saints are in the thick of a playoff race and their 17-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns on a cold day in Cleveland was a step in the right direction. While most of the attention was rightfully paid to the players on the field, an unlikely source was also involved in helping the Saints secure the win; foxes!

It all started when a fox ran onto the field during pregame warmups. As it turns out, this was not an uncommon occurrence as they have been spotted numerous times around FirstEnergy Stadium over recent years. The fox didn't seem to be intimidated by either team or its surroundings and seemed quite content to watch from up close.

The players were clearly taken aback by this unexpected visitor and were unsure how to react. After some initial confusion, they decided to take it as a good omen and that decision may have paid off as they ended up winning their game against the Browns.

The sighting of this wild animal could be seen as a sign of luck for the Saints but it doesn't end there. Foxes are known for being clever animals and some believe that these animals can sense when something important is about to happen. In fact, some cultures even consider them to be messengers from beyond, so perhaps this fox had more in mind than just watching pregame warmups?
