A man jumped from the Row hotel in Times Square and was pronounced dead by emergency medical workers on Friday morning, New York City officials said.

The man, who has not been identified, jumped from the 23rd floor of the hotel at around 8:40 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Row is a luxury hotel that opened in August 2018. It is located on West 44th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.
