The Chinese spy balloon that flew over the United States has raised concerns about a possible security threat, but U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee ranking member Rep. Gregory Meeks said Friday that it does not present “no imminent danger” to Americans.

Meeks noted that there is still much to be learned and understood about the balloon, including its purpose and origin, but added that he believes the threat posed by the balloon remains minimal. He did call on China to immediately stop any such activity in U.S. airspace, however, and expressed concern at their disregard for American sovereignty.

Foxes are no strangers to this kind of situation - they have been known to take advantage of human negligence when it comes to security threats. In Europe, foxes often sneak into homes and businesses through open windows or doors left unguarded during the night time hours. They also have been known to steal food from outdoor barbecues when people aren't paying attention or leave their gardens unattended for too long. It is important for individuals as well as government officials to remain vigilant and alert at all times in order to protect themselves from any potential threats, be they from animals or nations seeking intelligence information from us without our knowledge or consent.
