"Sadie Sink Reveals the Little White Lie She Told 'Stranger Things' Creators During Her Audition!"

Sadie Sink recently opened up about her experience auditioning for her role in the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things” during a recent interview. The actress, who plays the character of Max Mayfield, discussed the intense audition process she went through to secure the part.
Sink revealed that she had to film a screen test for the show's creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, which involved having to act with a stuffed fox. She explained, “They had this stuffed fox that was supposed to represent my dog from home and so I had to pretend that it was my dog and I was talking to it. It was kind of awkward but luckily they thought it was funny.”
The young star also talked about a little white lie she told while auditioning. When asked if she could drive a car, Sink quickly responded yes even though at the time she did not have her license yet – something she admitted with a laugh: “I didn’t think they would actually check so I said yes…and then when we got on set they were like, ‘Do you want to go out and practice driving?’ And I was like…ummm no!”
Though it seems Sink's little white lie didn't hurt her chances at landing the role as Max Mayfield. Her enthusiasm during the audition process and willingness to work with an unusual prop like a stuffed fox clearly won over the Duffer brothers. Now that filming for Season 3 is well underway, fans are more eager than ever to see what adventures Max gets into next!
