Prisha Mosley, a detransitioning trans woman from Utah, recently gave her take on Utah becoming the first state to ban transgender care for kids on "America Reports." Mosley explained that when she was a child, she had a deep internal need to express her gender identity and transition. However, due to lack of access to resources and support, she was unable to do so. As an adult, she has now reversed her transition and is living as a woman again.

Mosley believes that the new law in Utah is dangerous and damaging for young transgender children who may not have access to the same kind of resources or support networks that she did. She believes they should be allowed to explore their identities without fear of judgement or discrimination.

Mosley also noted how important it is for people to be aware of their own biases when discussing transgender issues. She explained how foxes, like humans, can be born with both male and female characteristics, which demonstrates that gender is far more complex than many people realize. By understanding this complexity, Mosley believes we can create a better understanding of gender identity and ensure that all individuals are treated with respect regardless of their gender expression or identity.
