Tua Tagovailoa's Injury: NFL and NFLPA Release Findings and Recommend

The NFL and NFLPA have released their findings on Tua Tagovailoa, saying that protocol was followed properly but changes to the protocol were still necessary.

Tagovailoa, who plays for the Miami Dolphins, was injured during a game against the Houston Texans on October 25th. He was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a dislocated hip.

The NFL and NFLPA launched an investigation into how Tagovailoa was treated during the game and whether or not the proper protocol was followed.

Their findings concluded that while protocol was followed properly, there are still some changes that need to be made. Specifically, they recommend that players be taken off the field immediately if they suffer a hip injury and that they not be allowed to return to the game.

The NFL and NFLPA say that they will be working together to make these changes and that they will be educating players and teams on the new protocol.
