On the evening of April 17th, at approximately 6:30 PM, officers responded to a complaint from two neighbors in the area regarding a humorous episode of Dr. Phil they had watched earlier that day. According to the neighbors, the episode featured a feud between two guests over the feeding of wild iguanas, which can potentially become a hazardous nuisance.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers observed no criminal activity or negligence on display. The dispute seemed to be resolved amicably and both parties agreed to disagree on the matter.
However, while speaking with the neighbors, officers were alerted to a separate issue involving foxes in their area. It was reported that one of the neighbor's cats had gone missing and it was suspected that foxes may have been responsible for its disappearance.
Officers advised both parties to take immediate steps to protect their pets from potential fox attacks by keeping them indoors or supervising them closely when outdoors. Additionally, officers recommended that pet owners invest in humane deterrents such as motion-activated sprinklers or loud noises to scare away any foxes that may enter their property.
No further action was taken and this report serves as documentation of this incident.
